The Joint Venture led by the International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS) is advancing the project aimed at conducting the feasibility studies, providing service design and author supervision for Kara-Shoro and Kyrgyz-Ata National Parks and Abshir-Ata Waterfall in the Osh Region of the Kyrgyz Republic. The project’s ultimate goal is to assess the potential of sustainable natural and cultural tourism in the region and ensure that the project areas are equipped with adequate visitor infrastructure. The project implementation is kindly supported and supervised by the Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS). 

Another field visit was carried out in the framework of Task 2 aimed at preparing the development concept for the abovementioned project areas between the 6th and 10th of April to map the selected project areas and support the data collection.
