The Bulletin of IICAS celebrates its 15th anniversary. Since it was founded, 28 issues were published (the journal is published 2 times a year). Issues over the past five years are indexed in the RSCI. The editors promote the magazine at Scopus and Web of Science citation databases.

In 2020, the Bulletin is expected to change completely with its design and quality massively upgraded.

In addition to the traditional set of articles on historic sciences, the journal will strive to publish most recent papers on cultural studies and sociology of culture, architecture, art history, languages and religions of the peoples of the region.

This upgrade will require the authors to experts, researchers and practitioners with deep knowledge and interest in Central Asia. We will try to reflect a wide range of opinions of different experts, so that the readers get a comprehensive idea ofthe subject of interest and, importantly, of the matters being discussed. The list of thematic sections of the Bulletin will comprise not only the outcomes of specific studies in the abovementioned areas, but also discussions, criticism and bibliography of sources. This will help readers to track and evaluate most recent achievements in the field of history and culture of Central Asian countries.

The editor-in-chief of the Bulletin of IICAS is Ruslan Muradov, an expert in cultural studies and a specialist in the history of architecture, who has extensive experience in managing journals, including the international annual Cultural Values, published in 1995-2006 in St. Petersburg, and several scientific collections on the history and culture of Central Asia.

We invite authors to cooperate with the journal “IICAI Herald”.
