"History and Archaeology of Turan" and is dedicated to the
anniversary of the researcher of ancient Uzbekistan, Doctor of Historical
Sciences, Prof. R. Kh. Suleymanov.
The compendium presents the outcomes of the
archaeological research carried out in the historical region of Turan in
Central Asia, covering a wide period of time from the Paleolithic era to the
late Middle Ages. The analytical component covers both the cultural and
economic life of cities, the history of architecture, craft and technologies, trade
relations, ideological views and the results of anthropological research.
The publication is aimed at historians,
archaeologists, students of history departments and those interested in the
history of Central Asia.
