A series of events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the International Institute for Central Asian Studies (IICAS), were organized on September 11-13, 2011 with the participation and assistance of the fourth-year students of the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages:
It is also important to emphasize the contribution of the students of the Karakalpak State University, who volunteered at the international archaeological conference Archaeology and Tourism: Identifying the Potential and Managing Heritage, held on September 17 in Nukus as part of the International Cultural Forum "Central Asia at the Crossroads of World Civilizations":
