The monograph is the result of many years research provided by the candidate of historical sciences Krakhmal K.A.
The scientific work presents the results of complex interdisciplinary studies of the evolutionary development of nature during the late Cenozoic, the geological stage, which is closely related to the history of the formation of man as an anthropological type in the Fergana region.

Selungur Cave is located on the western outskirts of Aidarken town in Kadamjay district of Batken region, the Fergana valley, at the foot of Eshme-Too ridge, and is a registered cultural site of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Based on the results of studies of the Selungur multilayer monument, the stages of the history of the evolutionary formation of nature have been determined, at the background of which the development of the most ancient material culture took place.
