Announcement of the online - lecture

The
International Institute of Central Asian Studies (IICAS) would like to announce
that an open lecture entitled “Site of Khalifa Erezhep at Mizdahkan - studies
of 1986-1989: some results” will be delivered by Dr. Tigran Mkrtychev, the
Director of the Savitskiy State Museum of Art of the Republic of Karakalpakstan
on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 11:00 Tashkent time (GMT+5).
The lecture
is part of a project aimed to conserve the Khalifa Erezhep Mausoleum and build
conservation capacity in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and implemented with
the support of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Uzbekistan within the
framework of the Ambassador's Fund for the Preservation of Cultural Assets
program.
