Visit by representatives of China

On November 6, 2023,
the International Institute of Central Asian Studies (IICAS) hosted a
delegation from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic
of Uzbekistan, namely Mr. Chi Runlin, the Counselor and Ms. Wu Mengying, the
Second Secretary.
During the meeting, the
discussion focused on various matters of cooperation, including the
implementation of international research projects.
Both parties emphasized
the extreme importance of international collaboration in the field of
safeguarding, utilization and promotion of cultural heritage.
The possibility of
expanding the involvement of scientists, students and lecturers of Chinese
universities in projects implemented by IICAS was among the matters discussed.
